Anita Ratcliffe
Anita Ratcliffe is the Regional General Manager for Westpac Agribusiness in Western Australia, and is based in Perth. Anita joined Westpac in November 2018, and leads a professional team of Agribusiness Bankers spanning a wide geography across regional and remote Western Australia. Anita is Westpac’s first dedicated RGM for WA within Agribusiness, further increasing the Westpac Agribusiness footprint across Australia, to build for the future and better support our customers.
Anita is a positive, high energy leader, who has built her reputation on her ability to grow businesses by building mutually beneficial relationships and finding a way to make a tangible difference to her clients. Anita was previously State Director for Efic in Western Australia (the Australian Government’s export credit agency), and was responsible for delivering financial solutions to SME export and supply chain businesses where the banking sector couldn’t assist. Anita is highly regarded across the banks in WA for her leadership in this space where she helped turn ‘unbankable’ transactions into solid deals.
Anita has a diverse banking pedigree prior to Efic, with experience across a range of banking areas including international trade, foreign exchange, invoice finance and transactional, working across a variety of segments including retail/consumer, small business, commercial, agribusiness and institutional. Anita holds a Bachelor of Business, Accounting, Diploma of Financial Markets, Foreign Exchange and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Anita has also been responsible for supporting the growth of small and home-based businesses in the south west of WA, as part of Regional Development Australia. In addition to this, Anita understands what it’s like to have it all on the line, having owned her own small business employing six staff.
Outside of her work life, you’ll find Anita either at kickboxing training or at their family property in Worsley with her husband, Aaron, son, Evan, and Australian Shepherd, Duke.
